Om Coco Chanels kreationer

Jag är mycket fascinerad av Coco Chanel och hennes liv.

Hon hade sin egen syn på mode och ville befria kvinnan från trånga kläder som hindrade henne från att röra sig fritt. Hon gjorde det genom att skapa avslappnade och funktionella plagg i en ledig och okonventionell stil och med ett snitt som då var mycket maskulint.

Hon suddade ut gränserna mellan manlig och kvinnlig stil och friskade upp den tidens trångsynta mode.

Den chica, praktiska och enkla stilen fick kvinnorna att känna sig ungdomliga, attraktiva, eleganta, fria och säkra.

Hennes bakgrund bidrog i allra högsta grad till att hon skapade sitt liv på det sätt som hon gjorde. Hennes höga arbetstakt och hennes starka passion, vilja och envishet att genomföra sina idéer, är imponerande.

Den här boken tar främst upp historien bakom hennes mest berömda skapelser. Det är mycket intressant.

Boken innehåller många fina bilder och naturligtvis får vi veta en del om det glamorösa livet och kärlekshistorierna.

 

I'm very fascinated by Coco Chanel and her life. She had her own view on fashion and she wanted to free the woman from tight clothing that prevented her from moving freely.

She did it by creating casual and functional garments in a relaxed and unconventional style and with a cut that in those days was very masculine. She erased the boundaries between the male and the female style and freshened up the narrow-minded fashion. The chic, practical and simple style made the women feel youthful, attractive, stylish, free and confident.

Her background contributed largely to that she created her life the way she did. Her high work pace och her strong passion, will and tenacity to implement her ideas, is impressive.

This book focuses on the story behind her most known creations. It's very interesting. There are a lot of nice pictures in the book and of course we also learn a little about the glamorous life and the love stories.
