Ett liv, en myt / A Life, a Myth

Alla liv är viktiga men vissa utmärker sig mer än andra.

Jag sträckläste den här biografin om Coco Chanel. 

Jag kan ej förklara varför jag är så fascinerad av just hennes liv. 

Eftersom jag absolut älskar den tidiga androgyna 

Chanel-stilen så är det så spännande att läsa om hur hon skapade den och varifrån hon fick idéerna. 

Det är ett faktum att hon frigjorde kvinnan från en klädsel som begränsade rörligheten till en klädstil som gjorde att 

hon kunde röra sig fritt.

Gabrielle Chanels liv är också mindre vackert om man vill uttrycka det så. Jag är dock mycket mer för att fånga inspirationen än att döma.  

Jag är intresserad av design och av hur idéer uppstår 

men också av hur vi människor kan låta oss ledas och även identifieras av ett märke eller en stil, oavsett om det gäller kläder eller annat och om det är billigt eller dyrt.

Det som jag dock alltid är imponerad av är ett utsökt hantverk. Kunskapen, kvaliteten och utförandet kommer först!

Every life is important but some of them stand out more. 

I read this biography in almost one go. I can't explain why I'm so fascinated by the life 

of Coco Chanel...

I absolutely adore her early androgynous style and it's so exciting to read about how she created it and from where she got the ideas.

It's a fact that she liberated the women from clothings that restricted movement. She created clothes that allowed movement and to feel free.

The life of Gabrielle Chanel is also less beautiful if you like. I, however, am more to capture the inspiration than to judge. 

I'm interested in design and how ideas emerge but also in how we human beings can be be both led and identified by a label or a style, wheter it's about clothing or something else or expensive or cheep.

The one thing that impresses me most is the craft. The knowledge and the performance come first.

This book is in swedish. It's nice to find a book about Chanel in my native language. There are several interesting books about Coco Chanel and her life in english.
